The Townhouse Garden

bring the neglected garden back to life. With the environment a key factor in the brief Jonathan designed this garden with environmentally sympathetic materials and planting for biodiversity. A limited palette of materials was used inspired by the colours within the structure of the house. Our bespoke cream Cemfree pavers (with 85% less embodied carbon) was contrasted with a dark clay paver for interest. The hard landscaping is beautifully softened by the pollinator friendly planting. A compost heap system allows for a closed loop regenerative system with the compost being added back to the borders. A walk down the garden leads you to a south facing terrace nestled within planting, hidden from the house (and the neighbours houses) the planting transports you to a wild space.
